Usually that's because you've selected a channel you don't subscribe to.

It's either a channel you don't subsribe to or you're not waiting long enough for it to come up...it does take a few seconds or longer in bad weather, in which case it sometimes doesn't come up at all. It could be a tech problem too...they do have customer support, call them and ask.
