start by getting a job. Then take the paycheck you get and cash it. Then buy some food, then cook it and eat it. Thats how you survive.

By the way, I grew up in a big city then moved to a small town. Small towns suck. I then moved to a medium sized town...I like it much better. It's not tiny and it doesnt have as much crime as the big city...

Step 1 visit the towns until you findone you like
Step 2 check out the job opportunities
Step 3 find a good paying job you like. move to the town.

It's really not that hard. To get started why not read the local newspapers for the regions you're interested in.

When I moved here to KC it was scarry. If you are moving to a smaller town you will have trouble ajusting to less traffic and noise. I know that sounds weird but you might be suprisied. Another problem you may have is that you might get bored because with a smaller town there will be less to do. Give me the big city anytime.

Well you would have made a 'fine' pioneer. Setting off from St. Louis in a covered wagon with your family in search of new land.

Where are your guts??? You go to the town find a place to live, get a job, buy your food. Make new friends.

Be brave young man ...go forth and seek out your new life.

Get to know the locals, in a small town everyone knows eachother, but it depends how small. Dont go below a few thousand people, or you wont have any of the good stuff

Depends on if you know someone or not.
Is there a mission, labor ready, or other temp. place?
Are you sleeping in your car, bathing in a creek, or using motels?
There are so many things, but each varies on your individual situation.
