Season 5, last year (actually started in January of '06) was the most watched year to date, averaging over 35 million viewer per show, (so they say based on the voting, and we know everyone only votes once, lol). Yes, I'll be there and I can't wait! Season 6 begins in January '07.

i have never even seen 1 second of this show, and i've no intention of starting now...why people would want to be ridiculed and belittled by those three stooges is beyond me...and exactly what America are they the idols of? i'm American and they're not my idol...kelly clarkson is pretty good, and that other country singer...but neither's talent warrants me to spend my hard earned dollars on any of their cd's....

I will watch the auditions. I will not watch after that. When Taylor won, I made a vow to never watch again. I may change my mind-who knows.

If I could, I wouldn't! What a sorry waste of television programing, right up there with cricket, fishing, bowling, golf, tennis, games shows, 'reality', BigBrother, Orca & soccer.
