Do you have a famous ancestor?

Have you ever been told that someone famous in history was an ancestor of yours? If so, then who?....for example, I am a direct descendant of Ghenghis Khan.

As I understand it, she is the reason the name "Peeping Tom" came into being. It was disallowed that anyone in town look at her during this, and the only one caught looking was a man named Tom.

for me, it seems that im like the Descendants of the Dinh Dynasty of Vietnam long ago, and for the people whos last name is Dinh is proabably as well as a descendants. but no hard evidences.

Also im Catholic, so im a descendent of Adam and Eve

I was told that on my moms side of the family that Benjamin Franklin was a distant cousin of ours and the thing about it is that when you tell somebody this they don`t believe you. I didn`t believe it at first but, when someone in your family goes back and does research on your family tree and finds out this info then you can`t tell someone that their a liar.

But, i'm not related to no one who is famous, but i wish I was relate to some one famous from the past. I would want to be related to someone even though that person is not that famous.
