i seem to find monopoly a bit dull but maybe that's just me. my kids are in love with Mad Gab and Scrabble and Trivia Pursuit. mad gab is a fun and exciting game to play with the family, and i think i've seen alot of commercials on tv about it, where several different people try to find what "Eye Mull of Mush Sheen" means,
and when you pronounce it you find you're actually saying "I'm a love machine." :)
my 13 yr old daughter loves Chess, it is a slightly complex, quiet game that requires critical thinking.
it really depends on what kind of person you are
