I heard it was either lemon or lime that does the trick.

Do you know any home remedies?

Thanks.

well, if u want home remedies i know one that is not so pleasant to the nose.. it actually is the butter cream or what ever of the milk and tumeric mixed together. u apply it on ure skin until it dries and then wash it off.. the smell is something u have to endure tho.. lemon does not make much of a differnece. I heard that tomatoes help too.. not sure bout those..
just keep ureself out of the sun adn put sunscreen at least thrice a day, depending on ure sun exposure.. ure supposed to appply it every 3 hrs.. that shud gradually help.

Why would you want to? I would talk to a therapist to find out why "lighter skin" is my ultimate desire!
You've apparently never had someone tell you that you are TRULY beautiful. It is common in the African American community and that is sad.
You are probably beautiful and noone has told you or, if they have, you were NOT convinced.
If there are discolorations, there are many products on the market that will "even the skin-tone". Finally if all else fails and you feel you need to "change your natural beauty" then there is a product called Nadinola that shoud do the trick.
It was introduced int he '40s to "brighten the skin" of those insecure enough to swallow the propoganda!

you can always go with a skin bleach that you would buy at store, or if you like organic, use lemons. Rub them daily on your skin

Lotion does the trick. Just apply lotion daily and it'll slowly make your skin tone lighter. Or you cna also try Neutrogena summer glow lotion. Leaves your skin with a light summer glow.

Lemon with a bit of water works. But...there are "Whitening capsules" by Elizabeth Arden....they work very well!
