document, several images on every page are also printed which is a sheer wastage.

Could you tell me the reason of having the images in the printouts while these are not visible in the Word file?

How can I obtain printouts without the images?

Thanks in advance.

Dan,

Funny thing is I had the very same problem some two months back! However, the difference is I knew what I did to cause it.

Try this:

1) Click on "Tools"
2) CHoose "Options"
3) The Options window should display.
4) Click on the "View" tab at top-left
5) Look in the first area under "Show" for a check box labeled "Picture Placeholders". Un-check it.
6) Click "Ok"

Now all your pictures should be visible. I hope this is the same solution as it was definitely the cause of my problem with pictures not showing.

Kind Regards,

Its possible that the images are behind the text. If you right click on the image, it will let you format it. How many pages are showing in the bottom left of your screen? Delete the pages you don't need to get rid of the waste.

May be a virus doing hanky panky on the word document. Scan with the latest antivirus
