Yes, I like poetry... Wrote one today... Here it is:
I Fell Asleep Among the Flowers
I fell asleep among the flowers
in meadows plush with verdant towers
Upon a royal bed of grass
as there I rest, the hours pass
Beneath a sky of fluffy pillows
slumber sweet - Brook of the Willows
Leaf on creek sails bravely by
onward pushed by breeze’s sigh
Orb of light, so gently streaming
countless times, I oft lay dreaming
Of God and life I would still ponder
thereby grow so ever fonder
Creatures play and dance about
haven safe - they have no doubt
Motley minstrels’ winsome melodies
effervescent warm memories
Til again I wake to my chagrin
to find that heaven I’m not in
