The *only* thing that bothered me was the sofa-jumping.
I don't even care about his stance on pills b/c everyone has an opinion about something. The sofa jumping seemed fake to me, and until he and Holmes actually showed their baby pics I really thought the pregnancy was just a publicity stunt.
I think his movies are good--I'd rate them as C+'s or higher, but after Oprah, I can't watch a Tom Cruise movie without remembering a really cheesy guy jumping on a sofa.
I was thinking he should choose roles whose underlying character is serious but makes you laugh.

I used to really like Tom Cruise but recently he has done and said some strange things. Also, the fact that he got his publicist/agent to set up a meeting so he could meet Katie Holmes was weird too. They also got married pretty quickly and he has been very secretive about his baby. In his private life he has become unusual and this has put me off him. He is however, a pretty good actor.

I think Tom Cruise is a good guy. He's about 5 years older than me so I've been seeing his movies for many years. He's a great actor and after seeing the interview with him on Larry King, I think he has great family values.

Tom is having a nervous break down and is quickly spiraling out of control into self destruction. Tom being a staunch supporter of an alien cult would also quite rightly lead you to believe that he is in fact a nut job.

over-rated, thinks his ridiculous behavior will earn him more fans when in fact it's had exactly the opposite effect, his remarks on the today show, regarding psychology and depression were absolutely ludicrous...i think he's let the whole scientology thing affect any rational thought processes he may have once had, has apparently turned katie holmes into a zombie of sorts...i can't remember the last movie of his that i paid to see...but i think if you poke him with a needle he'll deflate like an overblown balloon...
