It's the one where the couple celebrates their 25th anniversary and then they're murdered. Their drug addict kid wrecks a car and carjacks another one. He swears it was his dealers that did it, but they can prove they didn't - the dad took out 7 grand to pay the kid's debt off. The kid had a friend who had been in Iraq and lost his leg. My cable went out right after they interviewed the drug dealers and found corroborating evidence that the dad was going to pay up. When the cable came back on, all of a sudden the Iraq vet is turning in his dad or something? WHAT HAPPENED? please please please tell me! Thanks!

It turns out that the owner of the art galleries was behind it all.
He wanted the father of the accused, who co-owned the galleries with him, out of the picture. Then after tricking the daughter into selling him their father's share back to pay for legal fees; as sole owner, he could franchise a chain of galleries across the country; or at least, that is what he was telling his potential new franchise partners when he sold them their outlet licenses. Whether or not he was going to go through with the franchise plans or just split with the money was never made quite clear.
Anyway, the vet was the son of the man who actually did the murders, an ex-con who worked for the art gallery owner. He in turn used his son to get the drug addict out of the way for the evening and set him up for the fall.
The vet really felt that he was starting to reconnect with his father until he found out the truth, which is why he cooperated with the police because until then, the vet didn't know he had been used either.
