Yes, quite often in fact... I tried to answer a question about dogs but I could not for the life of me unravel what the person was actually asking. They used words like "inmates" and "dope" etc and all in a manner that did not make sense, I couldn't tell if the person was in jail and I couldn't tell what they were actually asking. I have come across many more like this, where there is no clear discernable question, they just write some sentences that are indecipherable and thats all. I am not certain how these people even understand themselves!

I definitely have trouble understanding some of the questions. I find myself reading them a couple of times so that I can make sense out of them. And also there are many words that do not make sense at all and should not have been used. While we are on the subject, what about all the incorrect spellings? It aggravates me like you wouldn't believe. I know that when I ask questions it is usually because I really need help or an opinion and I suppose others do it for the same reason, which is why I try to make sense of the question so that I am able to give a useful opinion. But sometimes I wonder if people really want an honest opinion and/or help or if they are just doing it to mess around. I think that if they want to be taken serious they should take the time to make proper questions.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. I'd hate to see you waste the five points and not get an answer, so I'll take a guess. I think that the answer must be yes. Some questions are just not phrased well, some are too rhetorical to get any answer at all, some are riddles where the asker doesn't even need an answer because there is only one "correct" answer and they already know it. Then some questions appear to have been asked by people who are not very familiar with the language. The little button can check spelling, but there isn't anything to check grammar and usage unless someone was to type a question into a word program then copy and paste it here. I kind of enjoy getting an idea of an asker's educational level, etc. by the way they ask a question.
It isn't you at all. You want to use your language the way it's meant to be used. Honestly, though? Know when to let go of your attachment to proper writing if you know someone needs help. But feel free to goof on the people who are just goofy.

I know what you mean. Lots of folks on here need to work on learning proper sentence structure. The misspellings don't help, either!

Yes, I think when they preview the question, they aren't really looking, and don't realize it was misspelled or badly phrased because they are in such a hurry to get it posted.

The thing is that some of the "questions" are not questions at all. They are just some ways people use to express themselves. I suggest you should ignore them and write whatever you feel like responding.
