And I want to install Windows 98. I know that it's an outdated operating system but will I be able to surf the net with the browser that comes with it? It's probably an older version of Internet Explorer.

The reason that I want to use a Windows browser is that some videos on the net don't work on Mac OSX and the only way for me to watch them are on Windows.

VirtualPC only emulates your Mac to run Windows OS and I don't think it'd have enough speed to play movies from it.
You'd better off using Safari, Firefox or Camino from your OS X.

If all you want is the browser, I think you can just download it from microsoft. The OSX Tiger computers at my scool have IE and safari.

why wouldn't you use Safari? or Firefox? or heck IE 5 for Mac if you don't care about it being outdated?
