The electric guitar instrumental goes like, Diddly-doooo- DOOoo-dooo- dooo-doo...-DIDDLY-OO! (I think the lyrics behind "DIDDLY-OO" is "Praise God-d") I think a part of the lyrics is "you got me on my knees--PRAISE GOD-D (DOOoo-dooo- dooo-doo...-DIDDLY-OO!)" And then about halfway through the song it fades down to calm and relaxed instrumentals which is almost completely different than the first half. I tried to listen for the lyrics but it's hard to follow because it was played on the ceiling speakers at a low volume at Wallyworld.

It's an old song, I think I've heard it since I was little.

" Layla"

EricClapton sings it, with his old band, Derek and the Dominoes. I must give you credit...I have never before seen anyone spell out guitar licks before...

It is definatly "layla" eric is screaming her name and i can see why you thought it sounded like "Praise god"...nope, its Layla

That's not "Layla" by Eric Clapton is it?

There's a line--you got me on my knees, Layla" Sounds like something they would play over the soundsytem...

Probably heard the original, not the acousitc version.

If you got iTunes, search for Eric Clapton and listen to the sample.
