froggybaby0682 are you talking about my dog or my baby? I don't think my dog would like drinking out of the toilet. My kid is still pretty dumb, so he might drink out of the toilet. Is this something i should try?

The question is would "YOU" eat from your dog's dish? If your dumb enough to let your kid do that, then your kid is learning to be dumb from you! Seems you are the parent, and the one your kid learns things from.

If it's just a dog dish that the dog isn't using, and your kid just wants to be like the dog. I don't see anything wrong with that, as long as it has been washed, and is clean, with human food in it. I however would never call my child dumb, saying stuff like that about your own kid makes the parent the dumb one! JMO

not even going to read the other answers because as a parent i hafta ask, "R U OUT OF YOUR FREAKIN MIND?!?"pet food is made from dead animals and not animals that are alive before they are butchered. i mean, "look, a dead cow, horse let's turn it into dog food."i lived in a town that had a rendering plant. that's where the local farmers took the animals that died to be processed for the pet food plants.there is something inherently wrong with a parent who lets this go on.it is time to put an end to it and teach your child the difference between "human food" and "pet food".get a clue

I would just be concerned about the dog getting agittated by the baby near it's dish. Most dogs aren't food aggressive, but some are.

It's normal for a child to try to do this, they like to imitate people & animals because they're fasinated & are learning. But do not allow your child to eat from your dogs dish. It's not sanitary, there are way too many germs she could come across, & who knows what the dog was chewing on before he slobbered in his bowl. And I'm sure you'd like her to learn to eat the way people do, & eat healthy human food, not nasty dog grub that's made with who knows what.

I cant BELIEVE this, you would let you child eat out of the dog bowl even after you know the dog LICKS his BUTT?

What kind of parent are you, gosh if I knew you I would call child services on you so quick!!

I really feel so sorry for your child for you to say that he/she is still DUMB, you should have never had kids!!!

Are you serious? You let your child eat dog food? Disgusting, some people need and should have to get a parenting license!

No , it isn't a good idea to let your child eat from the dogs dish. Your child may become sick from doing so. And not only that, it's gross.

Have a black light passed above the dog dish and then you will be able to answer your own question. It's just not hygienic.

how old is your child? Yes of course it is, do you know what kind of germs are there. If your child is just crawling or walking, and is naturally curious, will go to the food, and play with it.... but i wouldnt LET it be part of a daily routine!
