i'm a northerner and been to the south. very pretty area. my father was a southerner.

I don't dislike Northerners. My mom was born in SC but was brought up in the north and talks northern. Well now it's kinda like both...lol
But I get along fine with northerners never in my life had any problems there.

common thought but its strange that southerners feel like northerners hate them. just go to new jersey or listen to northerners talk about southerners, they think they are all hicks and rednecks. i have lived all over the world and can tell you for a fact that northerners are more bigoted and racist than any other part of the united states. check out where all the big skin head and kkk groups are...mostly illinois.

well i dont ....but my friend just moved back home to the north and i live in the south and she picked up the word ya'll so now all her friends make fun of her but i think its the other way around her mom says that we are hicks and sit on our porches barefoot which is just judging and she has never been down to the south ... i do think people are more hospitable just for the simple fact i have family in the north and those people there are not too friendly

I think anyone that doesn't like another group of people solely based on where they are from is idiotic. I'm from the South and have never given a thought about "hating" the North. That's just stupid.

Interesting question.....where exactly do you draw the line between North and South? I have lived and loved in both places, so it is difficult for me to separate the two...
