They just piss me off. When they do have a good team, they are painted as the best in the country, and when they stink, they are built up to be so good and given a good bowl game and nationally ranked, and are always on TV. Screw them.

and I am not crying about tonight, I hate the Big Ten, I'm talking about all the past years that the Irish have gotten big bowl bids over more deserving teams, and are always talked up in the media

I agree with you. I have never been a Notre Dame fan for several reasons. I don't like Charlie Weis, and I don't like their school in general. They don't give acedemic scholorships, and I have always been under the impression that college is about education. Anyhow, their football team has always been overrated, and will always be. I think the big ten is somewhat overrated as well, but that's 11 teams as a whole. Notre Dame gets as much hype as all of them combined. They try to compare Brady Quinn to Tom Brady, and there is nothing there but the number on the jersey! A lot of broadcasters are huge fans of Notre Dame, and it is no fun to watch a game with commentary that is so biased. I am not complaining about a loss from Michigan State either, although I happen to be a pretty big fan of them, and U of M. I think other conferences deserve a chance to shine. They need to mix the Big Ten up a little bit. U of M's biggest rivals are all Big Ten (Ohio State, Minnesota, Michigan State, Penn State) with the exception of Notre Dame. There are many other schools that deserve a chance to play these teams. The bowl games are a huge popularity contest. Whoever gets the most hype, gets the best opponent. College football should be a little more innocent, seeing as those it really truly boils down to 20 year old kids! It's the adults who make it all it is. I just watch the games, and cheer everyone on. I think it would be better if there were less people saying screw this team or that team, and just be happen we have a staple like college football. I still agree with you that Notre Dame is overrated, but all in good sportsmanship!

I am a recent convert to Catholocism after seeing Divine Intervention on TV(makes all the difference). I can only imagine where God was vacationing when ND played Michigan and even Touchdown Jesus failed. But tonight's loss is clear proof of a supreme being. There is no other logical explanation.

And about the above statement, ND does not belong to a conference and thus have a different set of qualifications for receiving a bowl invitation. 'Nuff said.

Oh yes I hate ND. Not much Of a State fan either. ND is overranked. UofM showed that last week, amd State found a way to lose this week.
