i'm not fond of a unionized employment.

Unions had a good idea when created, but became corrupt and self-centered quickly. Thus far, they have:
(1) Degraded the trust between employee/employer relationships
(2) Inflated market pricing of products
(3) Pushed jobs overseas/out of USA
(4) Skyrocketed legal costs with ridiculous demands of the legal system
(5) Lowered international perception of the US worker's dedication to US products
(6) Robbed the individuality of millions of employees to act independently on their own behalf
(7) Birthed ludicrous labor laws
(8) Forced companies to layoff qualified employees for less qualified employees based on seniority, not performance
...Shall I go on?

I think unions had a place 50 yrs ago but now it just ridiculous. why am I gonna buy a $70,000 car so some guy can sit on his butt in the break room because the union rep says he gets paid $30/hr even if he does no work.
I tried working for a large unionized grocery store. I worked 21 days straight and on my 1 day off was told if I didn't come to work I would be fired-and I was fired. I was not in the union and had no interest in joining but the unionized employee that was supposed to show up called off-due to a hangover.
Yeah just gotta love the way things work out.

Higher pay, better medical and retirement benefits. The unions are destroying the American work force and making these companies go overseas for cheap labor. Thank you Unions!
