On of my friends Classmates recently was killed by an IED while at war. Now a church from another state is going to protest at his funeral. They say that God sent the IED to kill the soldiers as punishment for having people who are gay in the armed services. I wish that we could picket their church everyday, and let them see how it feels. I wish that all the dirt could be found on these individuals, because I am sure they are not perfect. Any comments or suggestions about this?

Whereas I completely understand if they were protesting the fact that this young man was killed because of this bogus war that we're in...but WHAT PLANET ARE THESE PEOPLE FROM!!! and Why don't they have anything better to do????

God sent the IED to kill your friend because of gay people? Just like God made AIDS to punish gay people? Intolerance like this make me want to HULK....here we go....turning green....clothing ripping away.......AAGGHHHHH!!!!!

Most likely you're in the bible belt, ironically, there's the greatest deal of ignorance about God there. I would join you to protest their church every day! People like that shouldn't be allowed to gather any more than the KKK should be allowed to gather. It's not a legitimate protest but a hate crime.

The soldier should be honored for serving his country. Political demonstrations at funerals are a major no-no. Rest assured, these radical church members are not perfect. I'd say, far from it. Hopefully, the funeral home or church holding the service will have security to keep these people out of the chapel.

i think of that's actual disrespectful. that's positive to be against the conflict, the president, the militia, and appropriate protest that which you do not have faith in. yet once you pass to the graveside of no longer purely a soldier, yet someone who grew to become into killed and protest on an identical time as the relatives is grieving is crossing the line and down suitable incorrect. i think of that those people could be punished to the entire quantity of the regulation. i be responsive to there is no particular regulation for this, yet i think it suits the definition of a hate crime. So for now, we could fee those those with hate crimes till the legislature wakes up and makes this unlawful.

I think that they just feel that maybe war is stupid or they dislike that family, or maybe even just to bugg people and do it for fun. But you never know, there are many many possibilities to this question and i just think some people are mean and just they feel more confident when they hurt people and cause a ruccus, they are sick and there's nothing we can do about it cuz there is always going to be those type of people in the world.

I myself would never do that. They are stupid to the soldiers plight. I don't have to agree with the war but I respect & admire all soldiers that fight for our country. Ignore them, they don't matter. What matters is how you & his family feel. They are not worth it. Your mind should be with the family & friends. Good luck, Becky
