Is this a joke question or a serious one? LOL Anyway, I'll pick the second one because some of these questions are so dumb that they deserve a witty remark.

I think witty remarks can be funnier. Serious answers to joke questions aren't too comical.

We are doing an important and otherwise overlooked service to a bored and stressed out segment of the world wide web population by giving silly answers to serious questions and by questioning the seriousness of (wait while I review the beginning of this sentence...) that which appears to be non-silly.

I'd definately say the witty remarks cuz sometimes they are funnier than the jokes themselves.

I have been a victim of the former, and only realizing it after I've pushed the "submit" icon; also I like to answer questions with a little wit when required. Laughter is the best medicine.
