You body can absorb and break down objects placed into your body without having to be processed by you stomach. Can you shove things up other orifices (anus, uterus, etc) and sustain yourself that way?

Sorry, but I do not believe that you can survive by shoving food up your @$$. Food needs to be digested (broken down into its basic components) before your body can use it. Your stomach and small intestine are specialized for absorbing food, but I don't think that other parts of your body can absorb nutrients fast enough for you to stay alive even if you bathed in sports drinks.

no you cannot. its impossible. you have to eat something, and at least let it pass through your digestive system to actually digest it and use it as nutrients. there are people that have their stomachs removed completely, but they still have their intestines and that digests the food for them so they can live and so forth. they eat normal and just chew good. but there is no other way to digest food to survive. its impossible to absorb food that way. you have to actually drink water and eat food to survive....or it has to be pumped into your system by a doctor with a tube to feed you.

no. they aren't part of the "digestive tract" our stomach has to break down the food to particles small enough for our cells to absorb. When items are put in other places, like your examples, there are no digestive enzymes to break it down to that level.

well, there are people kept alive by IV, if i remember correctly, though quality of life would be near nil.
