I have a daughter that is deaf and a son that MR they will continue to receive all their life more than likey.... It depends why you recieve it in the first place if you have a parent that has passed then yes you can still get it till you are 21 as long as you remain a student. Sometimes till 23 or 25 depending on your circumstances. The best thing to do is call or visit the SSI web site @.. http://www.ssa.gov/notices/supplemental-security-income/

Yes. If you are receiving a SSI check because one of your parents are deceased, you will keep getting the check while you are in college. If you drop out, the benefits stop at age 18.
