My male friend recently was recenlt raped by a guy we know. He liked it but never thought he was gay. He wants to know if this makes him gay or bi. Also do you know of any way I can help him through this difficult time. We have been best friends for ever and I feel bad that I cant make him feel better.

It is "normal" to have thoughts and feelings. To what extent is different for everyone. That is fact. My opinion, you are not gay unless you act on those feelings. Did he act on those feelings? Yes? Then, perhaps. No? Not gay.

Wow, what a complicated situation... Perhaps it's the rape in general and the general tabooness of the situation that he liked. I don't think he's going to start going to gay bars and watching queer eye. He might, but either way just try not to make him feel weird. My advice is to act normal towards him no matter how hard it might be, and if he does want to talk about it, be there for him.

He is not gay because he was raped. He is gay when he starts having sexual feeling for the same sex as he is. Someone doesn't make you gay, you are born that way. Just like heterosexuals are.

that does'nt make him gay. It really depends on what he liked about the situation. The stimulation alone, the rape and domination what did he like? My next question is how do you want to help him? Are you attracted to him? There are so many questions.

If he liked it he's at least bi and don't try to change him.I know a lot of macho guys that take it up the bum like a man!!

he's probably bi. You can sympathize and be a shoulder to lean on...that's probably the number one thing he needs.
