What pressure?

The Tigers aren't the ones 7 games out of 1st place (the whinny sux are).

The Tigers aren't the ones battling for a playoff spot (by the way, one more Tiger win or white sox loss and they are guaranteed at the very least the wild card position).

The Tigers were expected to finish in 4th place this year, so I think the pressure is on the teams that face them.

Besides, Jim Leyland is keeping them focused on game day, and each game at hand.

The Tigers do have a easy schedule the rest of the season, so I am hoping they win the Division.

Even if they don't win the division, and just win the wild card, the pressure is still on the other team to "knock us off"

And, if they do, fine.

I never expected The Tigers to be this deep in a pennant race this far into the season. For me, it is a bonus.

At the beginning of the year I was hoping for 80-82 wins. Considering where they have been the last 13 years (119 losses n 2003) I am very pleased with them this year.

Sure, I'd love for them to go all the way. I think they can

But if they don't I'm still happy.

No pressure there.

Yes and I will tell you why. The Tigers have not been in the playoffs for a long time. They dont have the playoff experience that the Yankees have. The Yankees have made the playoffs every year for what the last 15 years. The Tigers are a good team and I think after a couple of times being in the playoffs they will win a World Series.

No way. They're a strong team with a great manager.
If they were gonna fold, they would have done it after the all-star break
and they would've stayed down since no one would have been
surprised if that did occur.
But they fought their way to the top and dominated a lot of teams that everyone thought were better than them.
They've still got fire in their eyes and now that they know they've got
a real shot at clinching the AL Central, do you really think they'd sit back & relax?
Get real.

Nope, they have an easy scedule and are staring to play better than they have lately. The White Sox have folded, dropping 2 of 3 to the Mariners.

No I feel that the Tigers will make the playoffs. The central division seems to be the strongest. So, if they are not the division champs then they will get the wild card. How far they will go remains to be seen

No. They just need one more win or one more White Sox loss to make the playoffs. They may not go in as the division champs, but they will make the playoffs.

its posible the twins are right behind their tales, but i beleive the tigers can hold on with some luck, if the twins can lose a game or two.
