OK, so my family plan from Verizon is 700-whenever minutes, free IN-Calling and Unlimited Nights& Weekends. (No text messaging, tho) I don't get how IN-Calling or Weekends& Night works! I mean, is it 100% free? (Even if it's a verizon-user, who has a different area-code # than you? Is it still free?) And for Weekends& Nights, is it STILL free if you call a different-long-distance #, which isn't a Verizon #???) And do they charge extra for long-distance calling (to a number that isn't Verizon?) And how do you read that little text message from Verizon that tells you how many minutesyou used? It's 2 confusing!!! And... is sharing 700 minutes a month w/ 3 ppl too little? I'm sorry that I'm asking too much- but please help me!!!!!

In calling works when you call anyone on the verizon network. No minutes get used on either end, and that is all the time so it is "free" for you to talk to anyone else who uses verizon ALL the time, even to a different area code as long as it is in the USA it is all good.

Nights and weekends is the same way, you can call ANYONE in the USA, with any area code number that is in the states and as long as you are in the nights and weekends time schedule you are not using your minutes or being charged. No long distance charges should ever apply, unless you are calling to another country, mexico, canada etc.

700 minutes a month with 3 people seems a bit low, but depending on who you call or call times you can use zero minutes of that time. If you keep your calls past nine o clock or call other people who have verizon then you use zero minutes. You need to calculate how many minutes you use calling during the each week that are not on weekends, not to verizon users, and not at night. Then use that number to figure out how many minutes you use per month (4 weeks in a month figure) If you are over 700, upgrade the plan. Best of luck.

The Verizon to Verizon is anywhere in U.S., you can call someone with a verizon phone anywhere without using a single minute. The weekend and night is free to call anyone with or without verizon.

heres a tip....not saying you have to but after i switched and many of my friends and family switched...i knew what was right after-all

switch to cingular...they have:
1.better plans (the best family plans...i have a great family plan for my family of 4 that is really cheap and my family uses text-messaging [alot] multimedia downloading and even over-seas calling)

2.better phones (cingular, along with nokia, motorola, and other leading phone makers, has there own line of phones that are made especially for cingular users...and there phones are super cheap!)

3. the fewest drop calls (proven) and a great coverage accross the United States

and finally
4. GREAT PRICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
