I have a drum pad in my room and I can't afford a drum set yet. What are some good sites to help me learn some drumming skills on the pad. A simple site would be nice too. All the ones I have been to have been complicated.

http://www.drummerworld.com/drumclinic.html has a few tips and tricks, some more "advanced" stuff as well, since your just on a practice pad, do a google search for "Drum Rudiments" keep looking, and look for a double stroke and single stroke rolls, stuff like that, Flams, Parradiddles etc. those are the things you want to practice, when you get on a kit, you should have pretty good fill and solo chops, moving around the kit and beats just take time after that.

Believe it or not, some things you can't learn from the Internet. Take out your drums and start playing! Go to a local music center and ask for advice. Even if you don't get lessons, they should be happy to advise you.
