I don't mean from something that was going on in real life, like you hit your head on a lamp or something while you were asleep, I mean pain that has nothing to do with what is going on in the world that's awake.. I've been struggling with these recurring dreams since I was 3... That's why I'm asking.

I mean since I was like 3... I've had dreams where everything goes black, I can't move, I can't see, and something's stabbing me in the back... It started out as something just touching me in the back, and I couldn't stop it. It's gotten worse as I've grown. I'm only 12. What's it going to do when I'm 20? How can it even get any worse.. I've done other questions about this.. Look at them if you somehow care.

I have felt really sorroy, I've been hungry, I've been very happy, and afraid... so I think that pain has to do with your worries....
Try to understand and buy a book with the meanings you can get some clues of meanings to understand it.... and another hint is to be aware that if you know you are dreaming try to control that pain and see in which part you are feeling it, the part of your body has some meaning too.

As a matter of fact I have. I remember once time that in a dream I was stabbed in the back and when I wolke up I could still feel the blode sticking out of my back. In fact, until I finally moved tyhe sensation didn't subside at all. I ahve also had experiences where I would move in someway in a dream (punch or kick) and would wake myself up by punching or kicking some object near me (wall, nightstand). I have things like that happen a lot, but only when I'm sleeping alone.

I have had a few dreams where I have been shot in the head and I felt the impact of it before I blacked-out in my dream. It wasn't pain as much as pressure. I was blown up by a bomb in one dream and I felt the initial percussion of it and myself flying through the air then I blacked-out. Oh, and once I was dreaming that I walked through the door of a "fleabag" motel room and was "hit" over the head with a blunt object. Again, I felt the pressure of the hit then blacked-out. Have you had something similar?

I would suggest seeing someone about painful recurring dreams, but I will say that without the recurring part, it's probably not a huge deal. i've felt pain in dreams (though it was always VERY dull, and I'd wake up shortly after).

Yes, I have. Not lasting pain, but yes. And in many of my dreams when I am walking or something, my foot will move and jerk in my sleep and wake me up. It is a pain. Many times I cry too. And when I wake up my face is all wet from tears, and I don't even know what I am crying about anymore.
