Click the pencil icon beside the search box on Yahoo! Toolbar and click Uninstall, and if that doesn't work click Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, scroll down and find Yahoo! Toolbar, click on it to highlight it and give you the remove option and click Remove. That will remove it from your computer.

If you want to hide it...why not just remove it? Go to control panel, add remove programs. Close to the bottom you will see Yahoo tool bar. Just remove it. I don't like it either.

On the Internet Explorer ……. click on View
point to Toolbars & uncheck Yahoo! Toolbar.

Temporary but it will not come back
and if you want it later, just check it!
