I don't think so. It's a little bigger than normal but not fat. Calories and fat loss usually affect the bigger parts of you, not the skinny parts. However, if you already eat right and excersize its just the way God made you. Running can give you the most toned legs ever, no matter how big you are, and squats will raise your but and make it shaplier, therefore making your big lower body a GOOD THING to the fellaz.

you have a pear body shape, and it;s genetic so the possible way is to chose the outfit that draw attention to your upper body and blend your lower body. like bright color. with pattern or other cute things with dark color not to tight pants/long skirt. There are some physical exercises that would help you tone up your lower body section (thigh, buttocks and waist) plus walk/jog and swimming would help to firm up the area and make you look tightand taut but it does not realy 'reduce' your lower body size in comparison with the upper body. Genetically pear shape body type is not common among asian women except the ones from middle east therefore the image of slim legs also greatly influenced with long thin body 'ideal' image

Hi,
Girls in Asia have slim legs because it is inherent in their Asian genes.
There is not way to lose weight without affecting your upper body. Usually you tend to lose weight throughout.
I also am heavier below.. my mentor tells me that it could be because my metabolic rate is uneven throughout my body.
I can't promise weight loss without sliming your arms and face.. but if you are talking about a healthy weight to lose weight without losing your boobs, hehehe.. maybe I can help.
I lost 15kg within 2 months and managed to retain my boobs (which I always say are my best assets.. haahha) and now specialize in helping people lose weight quickly and healthily using the detox programme that I did.
You can see my BEFORE and AFTER pictures here:

17" circumference for thighs might be a bit much depending on your height and other factors. If you want to target your lower body, you can try swimming, running, cycling. .Also consider a more balanced diet with a reduction in refined starches and carbs.

idk about your measurment question but about the losing weight on your lower body, i say you do a lot of cardio, more for the leg part, like running and stuff. and you can lift some weights so your top part gets bigger so you look proportionate. good luck.

Squats, squats, and more squats... don't do too much cardio, because that will affect your entire body. Do do some cardio though, just because it's good for your heart.

do leg lifts.. lay flat on the floor and lift both your legs up or one at a time. works good on the lower abdomen.
