I was the loser she ditched...We were inseparable friends, we would do everything together. I think I was the first guy who ever held hands with her and since I was 10, it was a big deal for me!
But as soon as high school began, she suddenly became hot and very popular and little by little we had less and less in common and could spend less time together.
One day I aproached her, just to say hi and she literally turned around and walk away. Everyone laugh and the event is something that until today I remember as the worse day of my high school years.
I moved away and life went on. My social life improved drastically as soon as school was over. One day, while driving by a women's shelter a kid pushed a toy stroller right in front of my car. I stopped and got out, to make sure everyone was ok...Her mom came running aftet her, she was dressed awfully and her eyes were all puffed up (I assume from crying)
She apologized, I said: Its ok, Lisa, its ok.
She didn't even remember who I was, and I am glad she didn't. I feel sorry for her kid but I can't feel sorry for her.
She was my best childhood friend and it was very painful to witness her corruption by older guys and popular jocks. It was very sad to see how easy she forgot me. It was very rewarding to see how life turned out for her. I never thought I would be able to not care at all about her.
Good luck in life, you are gonna need it

well if u really consider urself so popular and u really think its cool to ditch ur friends from middle school just because they arent as POPULAR AS YOU, well then thats a piece of crap but i guess ur right girls that try to act popular and saying everyonein the real world are losers and ur to cool for them... well watch and see pretty soon u'll be working for them! and if u really think shes a loser... HELLO give her a make over or something.. but since u want a REAL answer just say (since ur sooooo popular) say that u dont want to be friends cause now that ur in high school(freshman big whoop) u have so many other things to balance out. popluart\y, friends, boys grades..,

OK not nice but here it is. Tell her the truth. It will end everything quickly and hurt a lot less in the end. But if you truly like this person and you couldn't stand hurting them then maybe you need this person in your life and should try to bring the Friend up with you. But be warned once you've been titled has a female dog it's hard to drop the persona and show who you truly are. The other thing to think of it's better to have Friends then enemies. Good luck on your decision. Like I said before tell her straight. If you try to fade her out or ignore her she'll feel belittled and bad. You could try a line like (say her name is Jane) "We are headed in different directions and I don't know how much time I will have to commit to our friendship" Harsh Yes To The Point Yes Good luck

Friendships are meant to wear off overtime, but also to be nurtured for time to go. There is perfectly no reason to break off a long relation so suddenly. I find it rude, you "pick her up" and then suddenly threw her away like a sack just over a trivial fact. I may sound like a god-awful annoying preacher now but keep your allies close, what comes arround does go arround.
On another thought, being popular doesn't make you any special or gain any right to hurt anyone and judge people like this. Maintaining positive relationship will get you far in life.
It's simply silly how there's no acceptance. Don't post "DEY LEFF MI PLZ HELP WUT SHULD I DO" in the near future. lol.

let her know that while you respect the relationship that you once had, you've changed and are not the same person anymore. Apparently you are both on two different levels. however, when these so called popular girls ditch you, don't be disappointed.

Just stop hanging out with her. She's probably smart enough to figure it out.
S**t happens. I lost friends and gained new ones. She will too. Don't get real mean about it though, it may come back to bite you. If you get pregnant next year, she'll be the one saying "Oh her, yeah, I used to hang with her but she was such a slut..." HAHAHAHA

If she's a friend why don't you help her get popular? Did you ever see "Clueless" ?

Well, I guess if you anticipated that people would think you are a horrible person, then you know that you are.
