I tried changing the Crankshaft position sensor with no results. I also tried reseting the trouble code and once the engine fires up the check engine lights turns on right away once more.

I don't think that this is a Cam Sensor code, I think it is CRANK sensor code. This may be the reason that the MIL comes back on again.
If the engine can't identify the #1 cylinder TDC, then it can't tell which cylinders to fire, or when.
Some cars will try to "guess" when this occurs, but I don't know if Honda does or not.
MY recommendation is to secure a repair manual somewhere, even if it is at the library, and follow the diagnostic tree for the DTC's you have.
Just throwing parts at the problem becomes very expensive, not to mention pretty inefficient.
