Hi i shop on ebay a fair bit for good deals but when i comes to something that has a retail price tag of say $300 and they are offering it for $50 dollars at a buy it now price it is either faulty, used quite a few time or not the real deal so f i were you i wouldn't purchase this item.
Just a tip for shopping on ebay if you know the price of what the item would cost in a store the buy it now price should only be about 20% less than the retail price
Hope that helped a little

Could be a fake from China. Chinese are very gifted at duplicating consumer products
60 Minutes did a special about it, and they took a fake set of Calloway golf clubs, that was made in China, and brought it to the Calloway factory, and they showed it to an actual Calloway engineer, and he thought it was the real deal, only when they sawed the club in half could he tell it was a fake ( poor welding)
Not saying thats whats going on with the purse, just be carefull

Remember, retail has a very high mark-up, so you can't judge everything by what it sells for in a store.
Usually on eBay, it's one of the below:
1. A knock-off
2. Used
3. Had imperfections when made

Look at the description to know for sure.
1. Knock-off will say things like "Prada type handbag" or "Prada style handbag." Where as the real thing will say "Authentic Prada handbag" or "Real Prada handbag."
2. Used things will say "like new" or "gently used". If they are new, they will say "NWT" or "NWOT".
3. Imperfect products can't be sold at retail. They get sent to the wholesalers and outlets at the selling price of the exact cost to make it, without the mark-up. They say things like "discoloration at zipper" or "uneven stitching at seams."

Read the entire description, and contact the seller. If they sell it as a new, brand name, in perfect condition, and it's not, it's fraud. Not only can you take legal action against the seller, but you can contact eBay, and they will take action against the seller, too.

I bet it's a knockoff, not a genuine example of whatever it's supposed to be. $50 is probably way too much. It's probably something you could buy from a street vendor in New York or Boston for $10. I'd pass it up if I were you.

I'd be extra sketptical of anything less than 40% of retail. Is it a knockoff? Used? Stolen? The seller's rating could be 99% positive and they might still be a crook.
Ask the seller questions and use your better judgement.

It's either a knockoff or a scam. Don't send money to ANYBODY without going through ebay, no matter HOW GOOD the deal seems. Remember, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Either..
1) they have no idea what the price should be
2) it's used
or
3) it's a fake purse

YES!
something tht expensive being sold tht cheap is either a knock off ...or the person is an idiot!...I would look into it more...and ask the person selling it questions...lots of questions...

look at the seller's feedback rating.

that should indicate something.

if it's good... try it out.. be prepared for fakes... if the seller's feedback is bad.. just live without the purse.
