Don't even think twice about the points. I just like the questions and answers, that's what it's all about isn't it?

I do not ask random questions because I hate to read random questions. I don't care about the points at all - it is just fun to try to help other people out and I also learn other perspectives to things by reading other people's responses.

Yes, I save them.
Usually, whatever I need to know, I can find out using search engines. I enjoy answering questions.
The few times I've asked questions, I've got too many ignorant or willfully stupid answers. Too many people don't seem to understand if they don't know the answer or don't like the question, they can just move on to the next question.

I saved my points until I got to level 5...now I ask whenever I want to.

Save them for what once you get to level 5 you can ask as many question and answer as many if your lower you might want to pick a chose what you might want to answer

I try to... I got excited when I managed to get to "Level 2" but then I realized how much you have to use this to get to Level 3, so as long as it is a semi-important question, I ask it, but I do try not to waste them.

Points are pointless. I have never asked an important question, and in fact, rarely ask one that isn't deleted.

I don't worry about the points. I ask questions, I answer questions, my questions get deleted, my answers get deleted, and my points have been taken away....I've lived through it all. It's just for fun.
