is kicking soccer style more powerful and accurate?

i've been kicking straight on for a while now and I was wondering if soccer style is more powerful and accurate. I've never played soccer so are there any sites that show how to kick soccer style that you know?

huh? why are you kicking stuff if you don't play soccer? do you mean an instep kick? im confused...

I would definitely think it is more accurate. Kicking the ball straight on you are using the top of your foot or your toes to kick the ball. This limits the control you have on the ball. Soccer style allows you to kick with the side of your foot, allowing much more control over where the ball goes. I am not sure if it is more powerful, but would be confident that it is more accurate.

Look at all the soccer players that become NFL kickers. There must be something good about this style of kicking.

I've kicked for years. . .soccer style will help with the accuracy, and when you perfect it, it will help with the power. A spin kick is the most powerful, because of the extra motion it generates but you take your eyes off of your opponent so its probably not the most accurate. The second best is the sidekick, It is also powerful and still keeps the accuracy, so if you are looking for both power and accuracy than side kick. For straight power any spin kick
