I want to get one done reeeeally badly. So what do you think of them? How much did it hurt when you got it done? Why did you get it done?

Hi, if you want it badly enough then get it done. I had my labret done last year, in Australia expect to pay $60-$90. It does sting when the needle pierces the skin and takes about a week to heal. Not as permanent as tattoo, they are easily removed but if you get an infection thats the end of it, you have to take it out if it gets too bad. Good luck :)

Make sure that it is something you really want because when you older and try and get work or something they could tell you to take it out while you are there and the hole could be very visable. And also try and think about they infection that might happen you are talking about the mouth and bacteria is all over that.

I'm not a fan of them. One of my friends has her lip pierced, and she has to take it out every day for work, so that's annoying. I don't think it looks that great.

Imagine having a hollow piercing needle shoved through your lip. That's what it feels like.

Good idea. Hurts like hell. Stupidity.
It's really great like you get this hole punched into your face and like then 2 days and like infection and pus and stuff. Really cool. After that it gets really really red and gangrene sets in. THEN YOUR MOUTH ROTS OFF.

just telling you, a friend of mine got it and them their lip was swollen for a VERY long time. then she just took it out. but some people look good in them. so i'm not sure...

Mmmm i have my lip pierced,i didnt hurt at all and idk y i got it done haha
