You can add a USB Wireless network adapter. This will give you flexibility with other computers, without opening the box. Of course, they also sell Wireless adapters for the PCI slot inside a desktop. Go with Linksys.
A cheap desktop, they have HP and Compaq deals at WalMart. Skip the eMachine, since they do not seem to last long. When WalMart puts them on sale, you might find a Compaq with monitor for as low as $399.

All you need to do is get a wireless adaptor for your desktop. You can get them at Circuit City, Best Buy and all those other electronic retailers fairly cheap. (I'm assuming you already have a wireless router since you have the two laptops with a wireless network)

Easy. You can get a card that installs inside, or a USB device that plugs in and will connect you to the wireless network.
As much as I hate the store, Best Buy is probably the easiest place to get it. Just pray for an employee that actually is smarter that the customer. You got a 50/50 shot at that.

if your buying a desktop computer then you will need to buy a wireless connection card to install into the computer.
they are simple and easy to do. you can buy one at walmart for like 30 bucks.
just make sure that the one you buy is supported by your wireless network. so if your network supports g then you will want to buy a 8011.2 G i think the numbers are. but then you just open up your case on the computer. (make sure its turned off and that you have it unplugged. then touch the power supply to ground yourself out. it will just slide into and open slot on the motherboard). then you have wireless on your desktop pc.

Go to your local walmart and pick up a wireless abdpert. There are a few type internal, and USB. If you're still haveing problems the local computer tech store will help. You should be able to do most of the set up yourself.

You will need a wireless adapter for your PC. Most of them are plug and play into a USB 2.0 port.
