Sure, as long as both parties agree. Set some ground rules.

It takes a good deal of maturity though as stronger feelings sometimes develop. Usually these feelings are onesided and can lead to the destruction of a relationship.

Think carefully. What's more important the friendship or the perks?

yes, having a friend with benefits lets you be a "free" spirit, without all of the nagging and all the drama. it lets you have different experiences with your like and dislikes, so that if someone comes along, you know exactly what you want from that person. Also, make sure you freind is not making 50 other friends with benefits becuase you want to avoid any sloppy seconds. be carful sweetie. Anyways, good choice!

No way... It gets way to complicated that way, not to mention that you are selling yourself short. If you want benefits, your relationship should be exclusive, then there is no confusion. If you are a friend with benefits, what is to stop your friend from having 10 friends with benefits??? That is just opening yourself up to heartbreak, not to mention personal diseases!

You are better than that!!

here's what i think....i think it's ok IF you don't let feelings get in the way. if both of you enjoy each others company and you aren't looking to get seriously involved, it's cool. if you let your feelings get in the way it could ruin your friendship...been there. and i regret it everyday, we were great friends and now we haven't spoke in 14 years. i'm actually trying to locate him to make ammends, i miss him like crazy. as long as your both clear with one another on what you want and expect....go for it!
