Chances are not likely. I got tired of repeating this information over and over again so I put it on a website. Read this http://www.geocities.com/zine4real_life/Teens/091906_sex_education_101.htm I think you will find it very informative.

Everything is backed up by reliable resources.

I always thought that I was safe because I am so regular, but I have a two and a half year old beautiful (my only girl after 3 boys!) girl to prove me wrong!
I ovulate twice a month....I was told. I was due to start in four days when I got pregnant.
I do think my experience was rare. I have alway thought that you were safe the few days before you are due to start.

Yes. It is less likely, but possible, particularly for a younger woman who has only recently started having periods.

It has always been my theory that a woman can get pregnant anytime. Most periods are never regular 100%.
