Oh yes I have had this before. It is like a bump and it feels like it has a cut on it right?! It's because you have been eating too much fried foods, chips, soda, junk food, etc. Don't worry, it will go away... it hurts like hell!!! i havent had one in years, thank goodness! just cut down on the junk food and drink water.. forget about it. Good luck hun!

If it's on the inside of your mouth, and it's a red bump--maybe with a white spot in the middle--I'll bet it's a canker sore. If you've been stressed, and you injured a spot on your gums or tongue, it's easy to get one or more.

There are some over the counter treatments you can try, like Kanka. You put it on with a cotton swab. The ingredient to look for is called "tincture of myrrh." It tastes kind of nasty--like licorice and shoe polish...but it sure does the job of drying those suckers up and will temporarily lessen the pain.

Now not too many people like to eat sauerkraut--but if you do, there's something in pickled cabbage that really heals canker sores fast. Good luck.

Sounds like it might be a cold sore. There are things you can buy at the store, like Abreva or other cold sore cremes that will numb the pain and help it heal.

Canker sore...you need to brush your teeth & after that gurgle & spit out warm salted water, do this until a full cup of water has been used. You'll feel better after a day, maybe sooner. Hope you feel better soon!

See a dentist. If you have had it this long, it needs to be checked.
