No. Cryme Tyme is no different than me, as a white person, complaining that John Cena doesn't accurately portray white people because he is into "rap" or something..its a gimmick, thats all...As for some of the other issues, judge for yourself: Trish Stratus got far more attention leaving than Chris Jericho did...The current Heavyweight Champ is Booker T, who is black. Rey Mysterio held the belt before he did...before Eddie Guerrero died, he enjoyed a lengthy title run. One of the most popular wrestlers in WWE history, the Rock, is black and islander (Polynesian?) Yokuzuna held the belt twice, Shelton Benjamin, while struggling in the midcard right now, was a great Intercontinental champion, and is one of the few people to have multiple CLEAN victories over HHH. They are currently turning Bobby Lashey into a superstar, Super Crazy has been punking out Chris Masters for a few weeks now, Carlito is being groomed to be a main eventer, and there are other examples...Ask yourself, is Cryme Tyme any more racist than the Nation of Domination was? They are going with it because of the "controversy". That means ratings...not because they are racist.

I believe it is indeed racist, and I am a fan of the WWE. When I first saw the promo for this "Cryme Tyme" during an episode of Monday Night Raw, I was shocked that they were going to venture into that territory. Maybe it would be different if they also had another black wrestler who was promoted positively. It appears to be not only racist on the obvious level as portraying these black guys as thugs, but also mocking ebonics with the spelling of "Cryme Tyme"

You know something, the only thing that bothers me about Cryme Tyme is the fact that it stereo types African Americans. Not all African Americans act like that and Vince McMahon, should be ashamed of himself, for allowing scripts like that, into the show. You didn't see them stereo typing The Highlanders, before they made their debut. Just bring the news wrestlers in, no need to label them.

No. WWE is promoting a tag team based on what is portrayed by the culture in which we live. To say that WWE is being rascist, then 50 cents is also being rascist. Wrestling is a very non-politically correct machine that pulls no punches. This is why young men are drawn to it.

They're not racist. They just ran out of immagination and sense, and their lack of skill to use both at the same time is horrible.
I personally think cryme tyme is stupid, moronic and not funny at all. It's like saying all body builders have a small package.

I have seen several examples of blatant racism on the part of the WWE. They seem to thrive on perpetuating racial stereotypes and negative ideas. Fortunately, my IQ is just a little bit above 75, so I don't bother watching wrestling anymore. Not since I was 12 or so.

I read on wwe.com that Cryme Tyme is doing PARODIES of racial stereotypes, so in other words, they are making fun of what some people think of African-Americans, in this case that they steal.

The WWE was always racist or steotypical, and womanizing. How the woman wrestlers get treated like prostitutes and there supposed to wrestle. African American wrestlers are usually getting treated unfairly in the business. So as the Mexicans. Think about JBL agianst Eddie Guerro rivalry how JBL talk about Mexicans.
