swaddle her, different noises....like the vacuum cleaner, ocean waves, burp her well, lay her on her belly across your legs and pat her back.....what kind of formula are you using? could need soy or other. but, honestly, every mother, with time, will find their own way. just keep trying

There is something called sleep tight sleep device that is guaranteed. Look it up on the internet. It imitates a car going 55mph. it is a box that vibrates the crib and puts out white noise. Also, try massaging lavender oil from Nature's Sunshine on your baby. Any kind of white noise device which imitates wind or waves helps also. Good Luck. It's hard now, but colic only lasts about 6 weeks from the time they are 6 weeks old until they hit 3 months when it magically goes away. I am a mom of 4 and 2 of mine had colic. Mylicon may help also. I used Mylicon and Tyleol on my last baby and held her my rocker recliner and slept with her.

A child cries for many reasons, u have to be fast to find out y.
Some of the points u have to look would be:
1- He pees in the clothes and is feeling cold.
2- He is Hungry.
3- He need mother close by.
4- He is bitten by an ant/ mosquito
5- He is feeling cold/hot.
6- He want his position moved.
7- He wants to play and finds u not close by or asleep.
8- Any other point I have not written
It is said that for the first 40 days the child crying is erractic, and his sleep pattern is if he is born in the day he will sleep at night or vice-versa.
Before u put him to sleep take a little warm coconut oil apply on his eyebrows and stomach with a very light massage, he would enjoy. If u have to go to the other room when he is likely to get up or he sees u going to the other room, just keep a music system with some devotional song in a low volume. It would appear that he is not alone.

There is something you can buy for colic at the phamacy just ask the pharmisict. When my little ones would cry, it was because they didn't feel secure, they were tired, hungry, you could feed your baby, burp her, turn the lights down, put on some relaxing music or sing/hum to her, but first wrap her snugly in a baby blanket. She'll feel safe like she was in your tummy & hopefully calm down. Hope this works! Good luck!

As everyone else has said before me, it could be different things. However, my son did the same thing and it turned out to be his formula causing him the tummy problems (he's lactose intolerant as are a lot of infants at such a young age). Try switching her to lacto-free formula or soy formula. I also heard of something called "Gripe Water". I personally haven't tried it, but from what I just it's supposed to be wonderful. I hope something helps, I know how hard it can be when they're crying for periods of time (my son is now 5 months so I totally can relate).

Car rides or putting the car seat on the dryer is sometimes soothing.
Colic is not caused by the normal baby problems, so ignore anyone that tells you to check the diaper, I am sure that you know to do that.
I have a bouncy vibrating seat I used for my daughter, she wasn't big enough to bounce it herself, so I bounced it rhythmically for her.
Be patient, pass her off to dad when you need a break.
Oh and sometimes a change of scenery helps, like going outside or to the grocery store.
I use a carrier where my baby rides tummy to tummy with me when she is cranky, we go for a walk and it nearly always helps.
Infant massage sometimes helps, warm baths, music, being held close in a dark room, I know this is a long list, but if you need more ideas email me.

Look up typical symptoms of colic online. babycentral.com is a great website for most parenting questions. If you think that the symptoms describe your baby, then... yep... most likely it's colic.
Hang in there, it only lasts 3 months. You'll get sleep again soon!

My youngest had colic.
I used to hold her in my arms so her tummy was against my forearms and walk around with her like that. Having the really light pressure and movement really helped.
Good luck.

Some things to try, lying them face down along your arm (from elbow to wrist) and rocking them, sucking your little finger (clean obviously - seems to give some comfort), load of different medicines to try.....Infacol, Gripe Water. These things helped us a bit but it's really upsetting I know so you may have to chop and change a bit. Good luck, she'll grow out of it soon.

I'd guess no, colicky babies cry all the time. This is just her fussy time. Try laying her down, rocking in a swing or going for a walk. Mine cried between 5 and 7 when my husband came home - he thought she didn't like him. We were sooo naive. Good luck,
