It depends on what you believe. Some believe he committed suicide, while others think Courtney Love killed him. Some people like me believe that he did kill himself, but Courtney Love had to have something to do with it.

Havent talked Nirvana in a long time. Somebody already mentioned that Kurt may have been too high to shoot a shotgun. Thats only the beginning of the rumors. It was rumored that he was already dead before he was shot. Also they found in his ashtray two brands of cigarrettes. One his brand, one not. Many people believe that Kurt's suicide note was actually a retirement announcement, as he was burnt out on Nirvana and likely finished with them. The only part of the note that mentions suicide is the last part which is in different handwriting. No fingerprints were found on the shotgun that killed Kurt Cobain. How do dead men wipe fingerprints? These are just a few of the rumors surrounding Kurt's death. If you want to investigate further you can watch "kurt and Courtney." There is also a book floating around called, "Who Killed Kurt Cobain?" I dont know who wrote it and iv never been able to find it in stores, but you could probably order it. I should also point out that i dont buy any of this garbage, but i still hate Courtney Love.

Well I don't know about Curt Kobain but I do know that Kurt Cobain couldn't have killed himself because of the level of herion in his blood. But as for whom killed him I have no clue.

STOP the conspiracy theories, Kurt blasted his brains out because heroin addiction elevated his depression to a level he could not deal with. Fame fortune and a kid was not enough to make him happy so he killed himself. What a looser. I cryed when that happen.

I beleive he killed himself in a sick way to gain fame...
truth is he is more famous now and the songs too...
he beleived it was "better to die young than burn out or fade away"

He shot himself in the head. In addition, if he hadn't died from a gunshot wound, the amountof heroin in his system would have killed him anyway....he'd already overdosed.
