can any one tell me why the stores put their decorations out so early?....i was at the dollar store the other day and they had some of their christmas decorations on clearance!...and halloween isn't even here yet!....any one have any ideas as to why they do this? (oh and im not complaining at all...i love decorations just curious)....thanks for tha answers...love daisy

I was wondering the same thing.
back in August stores where i live had things for Halloween out already!! i was like its not even September nor October yet.
I think the reason is people will see them out and if they see them now they will go and buy them. If they stock up early then they won't be running all over the place trying to get decorations.
and yes i have seen christmas decorations out alreaday also.

They do it at Hobby Lobby all the time. Every July, they put out their Christmas stuff and they put their summer stuff on clearance. People start to buy the Christmas stuff anyway. Even my wife and I bought a new ornament. That is why they do it. They get people into their store for this stuff and they walk out with more than they needed.

SO it gives people time to buy things. I saw that at the dollar tree the other day. I got some xmas stuff to for 50 cent

confident I agree. as quickly as one holiday is over here day they initiate off with the subsequent. as quickly as Jan. 1st rolls around, they are going to positioned out the Valentine's Day stuff. The Halloween stuff has been out through fact the initiating of September if not in the previous.

i think that's how business works, always thinking creative and what's good for them for improvement, it could be annoying sometime but it's all part of the business
