Yes! Both my kids have gay friends and know that nothing is odd or inferior about them. I am delighted that they can see past superficial matters such as race and sexual orientation and find friends who are truly good people. There is no room in their lives (or mine) for bigotry and hatred.

If you love them more than you love yourself yes. Regardless of your personal philosophy. There a 10% chance they will be gay and if you do not accomodate this you might harm them. Every gay operson I know was brought up to think being gay was wrong. Everyone I know had rabidly homophobic parents. Thankfully all of them accepted their child when they came out as gay and most of them have deep regrets ( profound guilt in some cases ) over their attitude when child rearing.

Absoutly, there are too many bigots in the world as it is. If society taught children to accept people for who they are despite race, religion, sexual orentation, ethnicity, gender, etc then the world would be a better place. I think that conservatives and people worried about terrorism and other problems on Earth should realize that it is the hate of others that causes it.

My daughter did grow up thinking that, and she knew that I would love her and support her in the lifestyle choice that worked for her. She's now happily married to the man she loves, and they are building a life together. Not condemning the gay lifestyle is no way the same as encouraging it. If your kid is gay, all you would accomplish by gay bashing is to push him/her away and ultimately destroy your relationship.

I'll have to say no because I've got boys and the way the gay life style is with men, is sad! I have gay guy friends and they just go with whoever. I even know this guy who has HIV and he doesn't care who he gives it to! And I have a cousin who died of aids so no I don't want that for my boys!

Of course if they're not born gay the only influence on their lives will be that they didn't learn to hate people for no reason. I guess you would prefer your children to be bigots and if they are born gay, to kill them selves.

It would be much better than thinking it's ok to make fun of people and judge them for being different especially when those differences don't affect them in the least.

NO. I love my kids and I want the best for them. Regardless of how one feels, in American society, gays are seen as losers. I want my own children to have a happy life.
