He may have said that he wanted the cameras to keep rolling if he were attacked,he did not say he wanted his death to be viewed by the entire world. Why would he say such a thing when he would know that it would cause heartbreak for his family.Would you like the world to see one of your loved ones being killed? That tape is no ones business except for his family and it is up to them to decide what should be done with it.Hopefully it has been destroyed by now since that is what they said would be done with it.Why does everyone seem to think they have a right to see this mans death? You can use your imagination and pretty much figure out what happened.Very sad that people can't just give his family the respect and compassion they deserve.

Personally, I have no desire to watch Steve Irwin [or anyone else] die. He was a public figure, yes. But his death is a private matter, for his family only. NOT for the world at large. I think Steve Irwin would want his wife and children's feelings protected above all else. He would not want the video of his death being played to further destroy them. They are grieving enough. Let them be and let him rest in peace.

Hello. Yes he was infact filming a documentary at the time, what i have heard ( in australia ) is that the documentary was finished a few days ago, and its called " oceans deadliest"
Steve was meant to film rock fish, but instead he saw stingrays and filmed them for bindis show.
So yes we are talking about two different entire tapes. The one with his death is said to be destroyed by his manager, The other tape is the documentary and may be released.
Yes steve irwin may have said to keep the cameras rolling, BUt he was reffering to crocodiles, he was more agile on land and he said if he was " attacked" .
Don't be a coward and hide behing a dead mans words, you don't even know half the facts! you should be ashamed of yourself.

I truly think that he was only joking when he said that. He had a great sense of humour, and I don't think he honestly ever thought something like that scenario would ever happen. He was just joking. So no, it shouldn't be shown, because it would be terrible to watch another human being suffering and dying, no matter what the curiosity, and how do you think his kids and his wife would feel if videos of their beloved father and husband in his last moments, were aired all over television and the internet? It would be cruel and disrespectful. God bless him and his family.

i'm hoping they on no account practice it. For one element what if years down the line that they confirmed that on television back and Steves toddlers purely took place to be gazing it that day. that should be terrible. i actual might somewhat bear in mind Steve the way he became right into a sturdy guy or woman, somebody who had to coach the international approximately all of the alluring creatures that he enjoyed. i don't want to work out him die.

That is decision that should be made by his wife Terri. The impact of it being aired, may be too distressing for her.
