Yes, I have had many seizures in my life because I have petit mal ("little" in French) epilepsy. At first, I hear a buzzing noise and see stars in front of me. Then I taste metal, and get dizzy. I usually have one minute to prepare before I lose consciousness. When I come to, I feel scared, disoriented, and upset. It is very overwhelming and fatiguing. Medicine helps, but does not stop seizures totally. I wish they could.

my mother was epileptic, and she had grand maul seizures, which are some of the worst kind, would put her in a comatose state for days at a time. she had told me, before they happened she could feel them coming on, just a feeling of ill at ease, metal taste in mouth, tired, etc..

Yes, I have epilepsy - It SUCKS!!!!! Mine are Grand Mal seizures and I hate this condition.

I used to get rum fits.(seizures induced by alcohol)
