my favorite kind of music is country, and im 15....why do ppl think im gay? i like some old skool rap ( 90's) and i like rock music, but i mostly listen to country....b/c the songs have meaning and the rythem.

i have no clue y people think that. u know wut dont worry about them. cuz let me tell u, those country songs can bring up ur soul more than ne thing. and cant u relate to them so well? i know i can......i mean the words r beatiful. y do u care wut other people think? u like it dont u? in the end thats all that counts. u know y, cuz at least ur being u. ITS BETTER TO BE HATED FOR WHO U R THEN LOVED 4 SOMETHING UR NOT. they r jus 2 insecure with them selves if they make fun of u for something that makes u happy

Actually... I believe country and rap are very much in common..... It's either a song about women... or a song about killing someone.... or both....
Granted, I listen to a little of each of those.
EX: Toby Keith, "Angry American"
Eminem, "Mockingbird"
But... they can both get ridiculous at times... as with any music... I have no problem with country and I have no problem with rap... I don't believe anyone should judge anyone else because of the music they listen to. So.. Those that think you're gay.... are idiots.... To be blunt... I can't help it.

i'm 14 and i love country too but i don't understand how people can't relate to it.people ask me all the time why do you listen to country i tell them that it's the only music i can relate too and like you said they have meaning and rythem.

I am from Texas, and country is ok. There are a lot of great songs, just dont end up being one of those jerks who like 2 kinds of music, "country and western"
Check out some old Aretha Franklin and blues music if you like songs with rhythym and meaning.

righteous man. country music rocks. It is one of the only genres of music left that have a story, and a rythym. they can also lighten your mood if you are sad or angry. just remember, it don't matter what others think of you. I am a total country fan. I even wear my cowboy boots and a belt buckle every day. even at school!

I'm into country and I'm 15, they just can't accept the fact that country is sweet. It' not 'popular,' 'cause everybody listens to the same stuff no matter whether it's them or not. "you do your thing I'll do mine"
