Get the Acer Aspire 5670. for $1400-1500 you get: 120 GB hardrive, 2 GB RAM. ATI X1400 graphix card (whoever i talk to is suprised to see one of those in a laptop.) it has intel duo core processor, bluetooth, wireless, and a 17in screen. But its not too heavy. oh it also has a camera and card reader. works great with games.

Yeah, go to www.pcworld.com they just recently did a test of gaming laptops. and, yeah, alienware is probably at the top of the heap, but really expensive. pcworld ratings will allow you to choose what you want to pay and what is important to you--they even do a cost search to find the latest price on each laptop. they break it down into what each does well. I can tell you that it will be Intel inside at this time--AMD has not kept up with Intel on dual core chips. AMD still makes the fastest single core chip in the FX 60/62, but with gamers coming out with games that are able to utilize the dual core that's where the future is. no reason to pay big bucks (the FX chips are super expensive) for a single core laptop

Dell XPS are good, and so are the Alienware Aurora ALX but are very pricey.
But if you want the absolute best go with:
VoodooPC Envy
and Falcon NW Fragbook are the Ultimate - break out your checkbook

Alienware and it'll be expensive. Gaming laptops are always WAY overpriced. Go Desktop and you'll pay half the price for the same hardware.
