My son's computer is messed up, I tired to deleat some files and do a dick defrag and clean up ... Did not help, he does not have the reboot disks, and the computer is to corrupted to let me copy one from the selection in the programs menu. Does any one know where I can get a copies of the disks to reboot his computer ?


Note: It is a Compaq and is using windows XP .

You can get them from HP/Compaq.

I assume you mean Restore the computer instead of "reboot". Reboot means to restart the computer which could only require turning it off and on again.

So.....to restore your computer you have the option of either buying a copy of Windows, which will run you about $100 give or take a few. Or you can call Compaq and order a restore disc for about $10. Good luck.

Oh and I'm guessing you have a Compaq Pesario model 5000

okies first off is ur system resore on ? if it is roll it back when u didnt delete thoses files. if u cant go to compaq/hp website and get the files u need from there, they will ask u a ceries of ? about type of puter and all etc!!!
