How would you make your own program for a computer or for a palm pilot. Something simple, but extremely custom and functional.

The program I want to make is basically a database program. I want to be able to insert a bunch of items, and then have a 30-day calendar, in which I would insert the items to keep track of them and what not.

learn a programming language and learn how to code a program. for starting points go to http://www.google.com or you favorite search engine and search away!

palm pilot programming is hard sounds like your looking to get started you can use vb.net to get you started first download it's free to get the express and you can port .net to hand helds supporting the .net or look into starting c++ using dev great open source c++ if your serious about palm programming but you will probably need to get a book

Unless you know something about programming, and are willing to invest some money in software, it is not worth the trouble,.
