Who said everyone looks up to celebs? I think I'd go see the President. He's not the best we've ever had, but at least he isn't a cheater and a wierdo.

My favorite celeb is Asian,Indian specifically. I obsess about this man and look up and read up everything about him. Many Asians/Indians know who I am talking about without saying his name.
First of all,he has been happily married to the same woman for the last 15 yrs and has two wonderful kids. He is muslim and is married to a Hindu and in India this IS A BIG DEAL.
Before he went into acting,he got his bachelor's and master's degrees and even had a job as opposed to many American celebs who move to hollywood the minute they graduate high school.
His movies are awesome. I watch Indian movies mostly(Bollywood) and if he is not in a movie,no amount of money will make me see the movie.
He is humble, kind, nice and appreciates his fans and even takes the time to visit his online fan club and chat with the members.
At 24,he became an orphan and since then he devotes his time to charities aimed at children/orphans.
With the type of money he makes,he only has ONE HOUSE AND ONE CAR.!!!!! NO KIDDING.When he is on location,he takes his kids and wife with him if school is not in session. Ditto for when he travels to promote his movies. His family is right there with him.
He never has bodyguards with him, except when he has his kids with him. He formed a production company for a friend with HIS money because nobody else gave his friend a chance.
I could write a book abt this man and why I care so much about him. I practically spent my teenage yrs drooling over him and watching all his movies. 10yrs later, I am still drooling and watching except now it's like it's personal. I'm rooting for his movies not to flop at the box office and also not to be panned by critics. He gives up his fees whenever one of his friends directs a movie he is in. Not many actors do that....

Google him. His nickname is SRK given to him by fans. And if I was to choose between meeting him or Mr. Bush,I am so ignoring the Prez because I'd learn more from Mr. Khan and have fun too

I would meet Brad Pitt but only because I hate George Bush. Any other time I could care less about celebrities. Well, politicians of any kind I can't stand either.

I would meet Brad Pitt because he is just delicious. My pick for #1 on the HOTTEST OLDER WHITE MEN LIST. The secret service would probably escort me out after I drilled Bush about not rebuilding New Orleans or giving those people back their homes.

Because it takes our minds off of our lives and I guess it's something that we just find entertaining or fascinating. I don't look up to any celebs, there is nothing to look up to. in fact, most of them had a bad childhood or something that brought them to be in the spotlight because there lives were so horrible at home or because they had thought that they could make it in Hollywood. It's a good question.

Celebreties are everywhere and we gossip about whatever we are familiar with. Sometimes we gossip about the people at school or work, because we see them everyday. It's all about a lower level of social cognition.

They've done things that are world-wide known. If you see a random person on the street that you've never heard of before, who cares about 'em? That's pretty much how it goes.

I dont care about them at all......not their children..not their husbands or wives...i dont care at all.Im not saying that they are bad role models...i just dont care. Its not like the movies stars have to work hard, or singers actually have to know how to sing....because they all have computers to modify there needs.
